There's so much to grapple with these...I'm sighing. There's so much to grapple with these days, isn't there? As women, writers, and mothers? As for women-mother-writers, yikes!<br /><br />Thanks so much for your kind comments and support on my blog. I truly appreciate your time and wisdom. Ah, yes, the bizarre and ironic relief that can come with a a rejection--I can relate! However, I think we have to trust the urge that first got us to write the story/work.<br /><br />The up-side to my having published work that was way outside my comfort level, truely writing close to the bone, is that I've tested what I am, and what I am not comfortable with putting out in the world, and what I can and cannot own in my work. Now, I can proceed accordingly.<br /><br />And my worst fears didn't come true: I didn't die from terror or embarassment or visibility.
